Witchcrafts Custom Loose Magickally Purposed Incense Blends

Witchcrafts by Sable introduces a new line of custom loose incense blends, designed to be burned on a charcoal or in a candle diffuser. We are pleased to offer custom magickal incense blends specifically geared to the Wiccan / Pagan / High Magick / metaphysical community, made with high quality specialty ingredients from all over the world.

We offer the following magickally-purposed blends:

Banishing : This blend of loose incense is geared to banishing hostile forces and negative energy. It contains resins of myrrh, dragon's blood and benzoin, storax, solomon's seal, cedar leaves, and just a touch of mandrake root (the North American mayapple, not the toxic-when-burnt UK mandrake.) The scent is powerful and sharp with a bittersweet undertone, so I still advise not burning this incense in a poorly-ventilated area. It is, however, effective, and one of my most popular incense blends in my local store. Please remember when using that nature abhors a vacuum, even in magick, so make sure to do some act of magick to bless and bring in good energy once your banishing is accomplished, or what you drove away will simply return.

Divination : An incense dedicated to divination was required for our customers, to focus the mind and bring about the trance state needed to find visions and insight. The trick was to do it without illegal mind-altering substances, and to make it smell nice, since most divinatory herbs are bitter and sharp! I believe we have roundly succeeded with this powerful blend of copal, olibanum & frankincense resins, yarrow & marigold flowers, orange peels, and bay, rue, mugwort, star anise, angelica & marshmallow root herbs. The combination is a complex bitter orange and woody scent, with just a dash of distinctive anise.

Empowering : This blend of loose incense is geared to empowering magick or to empowering yourself. It contains resins of colophony (pine resin,) dragon's blood, benzoin and amber, with rosemary and ginseng herbs and just a touch of mandrake root (North American mayapple, not the toxic-when-burnt UK true mandrake.) The scent is complex and firey with a woodsy undertone. It would also be an excellent choice for Fire-element associated magick.

Erin's Enchantment : This is our best multipurpose incense, something often refered to as a "Temple blend." It was invented by Erin, hence the name, and contains a mixture of copal, olibanum, and myrrh, a blend that banishes, consecrates, and enchants, in which all four elements are represented. The combination of the bitterness of myrrh, the sweetness of the copal, and the rich citrusy olibanum, creates a wonderful, spiritually-uplifting scent, good for meditating, relaxing, blessing a Temple space, or consecrating your working Tools.  Incense of Abramelin blends sell better online, but in the store, where people can smell it directly, this is our best-selling incense.

Faerie : Specially requested by one of our customers, we have created an incense blend sure to attract and impress the Seelie Court! It contains copal, olibanum & benzoin resins, rose, lavender & heather flowers, and rosemary and sweet woodruff herbs, with a touch of honey dust. The combination is sweet/flowery and dreamy, with just a touch of golden green, like the land of Faerie.

Home Protection: This blend was specifically requested by our resident medium who found that by mixing Erin's Enchantment and Protection she had the ultimate combination to seal a room against hostile entities and beasties. It contains numerous resins (olibanum, frankincense, copal, benzoin, myrrh and amber,) and a few herbs and woods (greater galangal, sandalwood, and a touch of mandrake root, which is the North American mayapple variety, not the toxic-when-burnt UK true mandrake.) Its scent is many-layered and complex, containing sweet, rich, and exotic bittersweet notes. This is one of the most popular incense blends that I sell in my store.

Love Attraction : This blend of loose incense is intended to attract romantic love into your life, or to enhance a sensual encounter. It contains several herbs and resins embued with romantic and sensual energy, including copal and benzoin resins, rose petals, solomon's seal, and just a touch of mandrake root (North American mayapple, not the toxic-when-burnt UK true mandrake root.) The scent is sweet and flowery, very uplifting.

Money : This blend of loose incense is intended to attract wealth and prosperity into your life. It contains colophony (pine resin,) benzoin, bee pollen, cinnamon bark, and ground ginger and cloves. The scent it produces is woodsy with a warm honey-spicy overtone, very pleasant and usually receiving many compliments when I burn it in my store.

Protection : This blend of loose incense is geared to protect and seal a room or ritual space against hostile or negative influences. It contains numerous resins (frankincense, copal, benzoin, myrrh and amber,) and a few herbs and woods (greater galangal, sandalwood, and a touch of mandrake root, which is the North American mayapple variety, not the toxic-when-burnt UK true mandrake.) Its scent is many-layered and complex, containing sweet, rich, and exotic bittersweet notes. This is one of the most popular incense blends that I sell in my store.
