 - What Are My Options? 

Reiki is a very complimentary healing modality that works well in conjunction with other methods (Which is why we recommend that you continue to work with your other healing professionals as well as us.)  We offer many different healing services here and some of these service may not be known to you.  So we made this listing so that you can consider what sort of work may be of the most benefit to you and plan according to your budget and need.  Please note that we do give consideration to the elderly and disabled.  All these services are also available as travelling (meaning we'll come to you) or distance services (meaning we'll just do it and send you the energy; it's a standard part of Reiki training to learn this method.)

 - Traditional Reiki

Usui Reiki is a technique of energy healing that allows energy to flow from Source through your practitioner and to you. This method is best for a general healing of the body spirit, or for specific problem areas (such as an arthritis hip or chronic muscle spasm.) A specific technique was taught by the founder and traditional Reiki follows these specific techniques.  Sessions may last for differing lengths of time.  Shorter sessions tend to target a specific problem area or give a quick energetic "boost," and longer sessions are geared to overall body healing and wellness.  If just beginning to receive Reiki, it is in your best interest to schedule three appointments within a short period of time (minimum once a week) to obtain the most benefit in boosting your body's natural healing ability.  We offer a discount if you book all three starting sessions at once. 

 - Eclectic, Celtic & Pagan Reiki

These methods don't differ much from Traditional Usui Reiki, except that they may incorporate other symbols from other cultures to facilitate healing in a specific way (for instance, there is a Norse rune that means "movement;" Sable used it frequently to improve her husband's mobility after his accident.)  With a more freeform style, practitioners may focus on specific areas they feel require extra work, incorporate chakra healing or kundalini work, and add different healing modalities at your request.  Do note that the addition of other modalities and services may increase the time required, but will usually improve your healing experience.  Again, we do offer the starting three sessions discount.

 - Kundalini Chakra Balancing

There are several "energy centres" in the body known as chakras, meaning "wheel."  In Eastern mysticism, they are variously described as spinning like wheels, opening like flowers and radiating light.  There are many chakras (anywhere that is an energy nexus in acupuncture or a "pressure point,") as well as seven major chakras at the base of your spine, the womb area or lower belly, the solar plexus, the centre of the chest , the throat, the centre of the forehead, and the top of your head where a baby's head is soft.  Each of these is associated with different organs and emotional and mental concerns, and imbalance or blockages can result in problems in these areas:

Base Chakra - Kidneys, bladder, feet, legs, hips, pelvis, adrenal glands, self-awareness, grounding, instincts, survival.

Sacral Chakra - Reproductive organs, bowels, reproductive glands, self-respect, discernment, creativity.

Solar Plexus Chakra - Live, spleen, stomach, small intestine, pancreas, self worth, ego, courage.

Heart Chakra - Heart, breasts, thymus gland, immune system, love, self-love.

Throat Chakra - Throat, lungs. thyroid gland, self-expression, speech.

Brow Chakra - Eyes, lower head, sinuses, pituitary gland, self-responsibility, inuition.

Crown Chakra - Brain, upper head, pineal gland, self-knowledge, spiritual awareness, intellect.

Kundalini is your natural energy, which lives in most people at the base of the spine, but it awakens with spiritual events or traumatic events.  Eastern mysticisim, especially Tantric mysticism & yoga, teaches that moving that energy and raising it to your crown chakra results in transcendent mystical experiences, which are necessary to enlightenment. Blockages or imbalances in the chakras can interfere with this natural movement, causing health problems, emotional issues, and difficulty in the flow of energy which is significant to the metaphysically-inclined.

We offer a couple of services to balance and clear these issues.  These can be included in a longer Reiki session or requested individually.

 

Chakra Attunements balance and clear a specific chakra, hopefully for some time before problems arise again.

Kundalini and Chakra Balancing releases energy blockages that interfere with the flow of Kundalini through the body. It's more complete in that it balances and clears the whole system, but it's beneficial effects are not likely to last as long as a Chakra Attunement.

  - Aura Attunements

Aura Attunements are designed to combat long-term emotional or spiritual difficulties.  They are best used as part of a total healing process in which therapy and other health methods are combined to work at your difficulty.  Examples of conditions in which Aura Attunements have been effective are anxiety, depression, anger disorders, and addictions.  Your practitioner will need to know something about the nature of your difficulty to treat it effectivley.  The information you give her or him is strictly confidential.

 - Healing Matrix & Healing Touch

Healing Touch and Healing Touch involve moving and directing energy in similar ways to traditional Reiki, only these methods are more concerned with removing negative energy and blockages that are hindering your own natural energy flow.  They are very effective when combined with Reiki to holistically heal and balance the body and spirit.

- Crystal Healing

Crystal Healing uses the natural healing powers of crystals and the minerals of the earth to aid the body, mind and spirit in healing itself.  Your practitioner may set stones around you or on key energy points on your body, or use particular crystals in particular ways in order to be conductive to energy healing, such as using crystal massage wands or using crystal wands to direct energy.

- Travelling Reiki

Most of our practitioners are willing to travel to your home or hospital room if you are unable to come to the store.  This service is provided at no extra charge in the City of Vernon, or with the addition of travel expenses within the Okanagan Valley.

- Distance Reiki

Reiki can be done over distances as well as in person.  Most of our services are available over distances at our eBay store.  Please note that these rates and our in-person rates may differ.
